After spending the many years as a crewmember on the A.P.S. JAS Racing GT2 Porsche team, Donn’s passion for racing has been renewed. As a youth he spent many very successful years racing quarter midgets, finally culminating as the Western States Dirt Track Champion. It was several years ago while racing at the L.A. Street race that Donn was first introduced to ProTruck racing. Quickly his focus turned away from the mega-buck expense of Porsche GT2 racing to the affordable and competitive ProTruck Tour. “ I really like the close competition and the idea that we’re all competing in a level playing field here. With sealed engines and mostly spec parts, the race is about who’s the best driver, not who spends the most money”. After a third championship season in 2005, the D.C. Motorsports team is looking forward to the challenge of defending their title from the tough competition on the Protruck Tour. Although born in St. Louis, Missouri, the 52 year old has spent 51 of those years here in Southern California. Donn, the President of Cross State Electric, Inc. is married to wife Nancy, has a twenty-one year old daughter Kara, and a nineteen year old son Dustin.
